Honolulu Day:1

Today has been my first full day in Hawaii. It's been a bit of an adventure and I'm pretty jetlegged. The trip from Seattle to here was awful. I got stuck on possibly the most uncomfortable plane ever, between pot head and a crack head and yes they told me this themselves. Sense I've been here I've really only seen China town but it is a beautiful place.

Currently, I am staying on the military base here which is an adventure in itself. The security is pretty high and it's restricted access to get in. Anything you buy, you have to have an military i.d. for but you get special discounts all over the Island. However, I will not lie, the best part of staying on base may just be the guys barracs are really close and they do P.T. out front in the mornings. I didn't think Hawaii's views could get better but apparently they can. Just kidding, but being on a base is pretty interesting. This whole Island is interesting, and I can't wait for the real fun to begin.

My whole goal for this trip was great pictures, and also a lot of time spent just getting to know myself really. Tonight I had a long talk with Sarah, who is the women I'm staying with. I feel like from our conversations I've come to a lot of realizations already. I'm hoping to log them and be able to look back at what I've noticed and come to find about myself and life in general.

Tomorrow we are most likely going to the ocean and possibly surfing which is really exciting for me. I'm already having a good time and I feel like it is only going to get better.
